The members of Refugee Council of Lithuania need to have a legal refugee or legal protection status in Lithuania. Refugee Council consists of various representatives from diverse refugee communities. The participation in Refugee Council of Lithuania is voluntary.
The participants of refugee council meetings are active and motivated members of the organization, who have support of at least 10 people from refugee communities and can represent the needs and challenges of diverse communities and are committed to participate in the meetings and activities of Refugee Council and various invited guests. The selection of members is organized in line with the principles of inclusion, participation and transparency and ensuring representation of diverse communities. All people with refugee status in Lithuania can become members of the organization, get its updates, share proposals with the representatives of the Council. People supporting the values of the organization, but without refugee status can join the community of volunteers and help the organization with its activities.
