On June 18, we had the honor of attending the World Refugee Day event at the Pabradė Reception Center.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, UNHCR, and the Reception and Integration Agency for the invitation and for creating space for meaningful connection.

For us, this day is personal: many in our team are refugees from different countries, with different stories, united by a shared resilience.

We especially thank Inga Ruginienė and the Ministry of Social Security and Labour for their commitment. Inga reminded us that Lithuania continues to build an environment where every person regardless of background or legal status – can live in safety, dignity, and purpose.

That vision echoes in our work. At Refugee Council of Lithuania, we’re not just helping people integrate, we’re building bridges, restoring dignity, and shaping futures.

Because when refugees are empowered, they don’t just adapt. They thrive.
