Final Workshop of "The Voices of Strength" Project: Empowering Refugee Voices

On March 18, 2025, we successfully held the final workshop of The Voices of Strength: Refugee Empowerment through Storytelling and Advocacy project. Since July 2024, this initiative has provided refugees with the tools and skills to share their personal stories, fostering a deeper understanding of EU values and strengthening their voices in their new communities.

Throughout the project, participants engaged in storytelling workshops led by expert Milda Varnauskaite. These sessions created a safe and supportive space where refugees could develop their storytelling techniques, learn about their rights, and gain confidence in sharing their experiences. While stories remained confidential, those inspired to speak publicly received mentoring and opportunities to share their narratives with wider audiences.

As the project concludes, its impact continues. We remain committed to amplifying refugee voices by publishing their stories, ensuring that their experiences, challenges, and achievements are heard. Through storytelling, refugees gain not only a voice but also the power to advocate for themselves and their communities.
