It was an evening filled with resilience, motivation, and meaningful connections.
Our guest speaker, Tatiana from Chernihiv — the head of sales at the Ukrainian door manufacturer Sarmak — shared her extraordinary journey. After their factory was heavily damaged by shelling in 2022, Tatiana and her team managed to rebuild production in just two months, showing remarkable determination and courage. Her story of restarting operations amidst destruction and expanding into European markets left a deep impression on everyone present.

The event gathered refugees, entrepreneurs, and active community members, creating a warm and open space for networking. Participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share their experiences of life and business abroad, and support one another in their journeys of adaptation and growth.
Beyond just business insights, the evening was a powerful reminder that resilience and action can lead to new beginnings — even in unfamiliar environments.
We are grateful to Tatiana for her inspiring story, to all the attendees for their energy and openness.
The project is funded by the US Embassy in Vilnius.
Let’s continue to build bridges, share stories, and create opportunities together ✨
