The first Stakeholders’ Engagement Workshop in Vilnius under the Volunteers Everywhere Project

On September 15th, we hosted the first Stakeholders’ Engagement Workshop in Vilnius under the Volunteers Everywhere Project. The event brought together youth organizations, volunteers, students, and civil society representatives to exchange experiences on volunteering and refugee integration.

Participants shared personal stories, overviewed the new VolEver mobile app, and gave fresh insights on how it could be improved — from simplifying the feedback system to adding clearer location filters and faster application reviews. Their perspectives brought valuable, practical ideas for making the app more user-friendly and accessible.

The discussions also touched on key challenges such as language barriers, access to information, and unequal support systems. At the same time, participants highlighted the growing volunteering culture in Lithuania and the strong motivation of young people to contribute to community life.
